For the last 2 years I have been working in the world of filmmaking.
I am really passionate about my profession and it motivates me, so I am always looking to improve my technique and acquire more skills. In general, I always look for opportunities to create and grow in my own way. In each of my projects, whether they are personal, in collaboration or together with companies or companies, I always try to give the best of me and move forward in this industry. Get to know me a little more in this space.
Who I Am?
My nickname is Emvi but my real name is Mariano.
I'm currently 24 years old and I live in Madrid, Spain.
I'm a filmmaker and content creator since 2 years ago.
My profession is the reflection of what I've always wanted. To be able to script and narrate my life by myself.
Versatile, creative and always eager to get out of my comfort zone.
Creating My Own Path
It all started in 2021, when I had finally found a full-time job related to the university degree I had studied (nothing related to audiovisual or similar) and finished that same year, I met by sopesa the world of "Filmmaking". And this changed everything.
I began to discover everything that surrounds it and I felt that passion to create.
I discovered a new side of me. And I was excited about all the possibilities of growth that I would have if I dedicated the necessary time to it. I didn't hesitate long and I made the decision to quit my job and start my path in this industry.
And it was a hard decision to make. But the reality is that the path I had taken the previous years of my life was not the right one, I was not happy. I had always had the desire to create something on my own, but I had never had the vision to focus on it. So even though I had no knowledge about it, I knew it was a sign and a great opportunity and even though I had never touched a camera before, I knew that nothing would stop me and that I owed it to myself to at least try.
And I was not wrong in that decision. I never would have imagined since then to have experienced so many positive changes in my life, learned from so many mistakes, lived so many experiences/adventures, met so many amazing people and to have them trust and count on me for so many audiovisual projects.
This is my path. And I'm excited to know that it's just the beginning.
Keep Pushing
I always try to be better. It's what keeps me motivated. Since I started, always pushing to be a little better every day and get closer and closer to my next goal.
I push myself week in and week out, no matter the intensity. Being self-critical, consistent and patient are my keys to being who I am. Always knowing where I'm going, but also where I'm coming from.
